Custom Art
Anchor Custom Apparel offers customized logo reproduction for our clients. By use of specialized embroidery and graphics programs we are able to ‘digitize’ your custom art so that it can be screen printed, embroidered or applied by heat transfer. We can also help design something new using our talented graphic artist. (design fees waived for schools and volume orders).

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
Please send us art in one of the following formats.
Files: Illustrator (.ai)    Photoshop (.psd)     Photo File (.jpg) or (.png)  
Encapsulated Post Script (.eps)   Portable Document Format (.pdf)

• Resolution: 300+ dpi.
  
• Art size: Size the artwork as large as you'd want it printed on the garments. 
  

• Misc: All artwork must be computer generated (it can be done by hand, but needs to be scanned in) and saved as one of the files above. 
  

• Using fonts? Make sure to save as a .pdf or .jpg as we may not have the same fonts as you do.
  

Also, if you're sending an illustrator or eps file, make sure that your fonts are changed to objects / outlined.

Q. What file format is best?
A. It is best to send us the artwork by email in either a .pdf , .png, or .jpeg that is at least 300 dpi. 
It's also best to send the artwork near the size you would like it printed.

Q. Can you use a picture from my website on my shirt?
A. Pictures from websites are usually 72 dpi. This is not high enough quality to be screen printed.

Q. Can I see a proof of one print before you print?
A. We do not provide preproduction prints. The screen printing setup process is much too time consuming to set everything and wait for you to approve a printed proof because it takes up a spot on the presses. Once everything is set up we can't change much anyway, so it's best to iron out all of those details before we begin production.

Specific Ink Colors: 
If you're looking to match specific ink colors in your artwork, we need exact Pantone numbers. 
Computer screens can be calibrated differently and there is no way of knowing if the color on our screens is that same color that you are looking at. If ink colors are not specified, we will hand mix the inks to achieve a color as close to your artwork as possible.
